“Praise him with the sounding of the trumpet.” Instrumental Praise, Volumes 1, 2 and 3 contain wonderfully crafted pieces for solo instrument with piano. They fit beautifully within a worship service as well as at recitals, auditions and competitions. These fresh hymntune based arrangements were originally written for trumpet, but other transpositions are available free from this website. The B-flat parts (trumpet, clarinet, and treble clef baritone) are included with the book. Both the instrumental and piano parts are of medium difficulty and are easily within reach of the high school student as well as the adult amateur player. Their conversational style makes the instrument and the piano equal partners and both players will find them delightful. Look for recordings of many of these songs on the “In His Time” CD by the group In His Service. |
